Who, What, When, Where

Who is the Signage and Graphics Summit for?

Companies that conduct high-volume business with hotel chains, restaurants, retailers, financial institutions, gas stations, supermarkets and other major buyers of signage and graphics programs. Specifically:

  • production sign companies
  • screen printers specializing in signage and display graphics
  • digital print shops
  • large electric and commercial sign manufacturers
  • corporate headquarters of nationwide sign franchises
  • other graphics providers who utilize large-format digital printing

    The Summit is designed specifically for upper-level executives making strategic and technology decisions. Attendees include:

  • owners and presidents
  • CEOs, COOs and CFOs
  • VPs and GMs
  • production managers
  • technology managers
  • other top business and production executives

    Note: Registration is limited, and suppliers to the sign, digital-printing and screen-printing industries are not permitted to attend unless they are sponsors. These policies allow us to maintain an atmosphere for productive networking, so you can make the most of your time at the Summit.

    Is there an exhibit hall or trade show component of the Summit?

    No. At SGS, the focus is on education and networking, so the program is comprised of general sessions, breakout sessions, roundtable discussions and networking events-all designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information.

    When is the 2008 Summit?

    The Summit begins on Wednesday morning, January 16 and concludes on Friday, January 18.

    Where is the Summit held?

    The venue is different each year. The 2008 event is at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Visit the a href="http://www.signageandgraphics.com/travel.php">Travel page to learn more.

    Are there discounted room rates for Summit attendees?

    Yes. SGS attendees will enjoy a substantially discounted rate of $240 single/double per night. This group rate will be honored three days before and three days after the Summit dates, based upon availability.

    How do I register?

    It's best to use the fast and secure registration form on this web site. You can also register by fax or postal mail by printing and completing this registration form.

    Is there a one-day rate?

    No.

    Is there a student rate?

    No.

    What registration options do I have, and what does each include?

    Full Registration: $1199
    Includes participation in all educational sessions, networking breakfasts, roundtable discussions and cocktail receptions.

    Early Bird Rate: $999
    Save $100 off the full registration fee when you register by December 12, 2007.

    Group Rate: $799 per person
    Save $400 off the full registration fee when you bring your CFO, VP/production, CEO and other top executives-all of whom will benefit from content developed specifically for their areas of responsibility. In order to qualify for group registration rates, two or more people from the same company must register together.

    How do I register for the golf tournament?

    To participate in the golf tournament on Thursday, January 17, just check the appropriate box on your registration form. The $75 fee includes 18 holes, a cart and a boxed lunch.

    Can I get a receipt/invoice for my registration?

    Yes. If you register online, you will be presented with a printable receipt at the end of the registration process (on your confirmation page). Please print that page for your records; it acts as your receipt. If you need to be invoiced, contact us for arrangements.

    Can I pay by check?

    Yes. Simply print and complete the registration form and mail it to us with your check. We will send you a receipt.

    Is the group rate a per-person cost, or is that for the whole group?

    Groups of two or more are $799 per person.

    Can I make my hotel reservation when I register?

    No, but you'll find complete information for booking your room-and taking advantage of discounted SGS rates-on the Travel page. Please be sure to make your reservations early, as our room block fills quickly.

    When is the deadline for registering at the Early Bird Rate?

    The deadline for submitting Early Bird Rate registrations is December 12, 2007.

    What is your cancellation policy?

    If you must cancel for any reason, please notify us via email at kristy.lohre@stmediagroup.com Cancellations received before December 14, 2007 will receive a full refund less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations received by January 2, 2008 will receive a full refund less a $100 cancellation fee. Refunds will not be given after January 2, 2008, but the registration may be transferred to a colleague. Refunds will not be issued for no-shows.

    Travel Questions

    Which airport do you recommend I fly into?

    The PGA National Resort & Spa lies 15 miles north of Palm Beach International Airport, 40 minutes north of Fort Lauderdale International and 90 minutes north of Miami International.

    What is the best way to travel into West Palm Beach from the airport?

    The resort offers a car service to/from all three airports; call 561.627.2000 for more information. Other options for airport transportation include the Yellow Cab taxi service at 561.889.2222 or the Super Shuttle airport transfer service at 561.233.0500.

    I'm driving into Palm Beach Gardens for the Summit. Where can I park?

    Self-parking at the resort is complimentary; valet service is $17 per night.

    What if I'm having problems with the online registration process?

    If your problems are technical in nature (your browser is reporting errors or pages are failing to load correctly), please first try quitting and re-launching your browser, and/or restarting your computer. Also, be sure you are not blocking cookies in your browser's preferences (cookies are required for the registration form to work). If the issue persists, contact us and explain your problem in as much detail as you can.

    I'm having some difficulty just viewing the pages on your web site. Can you help?

    The SGS web site uses several web technologies, including JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets, which depend upon the browser to interpret correctly. Our site is optimized for version 6.x browsers and higher (e.g., Netscape 7.0+, Mozilla 1.4+, Firefox 1.0+, Safari 1.0, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 6+ for PCs or 5.2+ for Macs), and a video resolution of at least 800x600.

    If you are using an older browser, or a browser that does not support these technologies, but want to learn more about the conference, please feel free to contact us. We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about the Summit, and we can send you a Summit brochure via postal mail if you have yet to receive one.

    May I bring a guest to the SGS cocktail parties?

    Yes. The guest rate for the cocktail receptions on Wednesday and Thursday evening is $30 per evening. You may register your guest on-site.

    Do you accommodate special needs?

    Yes. We make sure our facility has total accessibility, and we do whatever is needed to make attending the Summit as convenient as possible for all attendees. If you have a special need, contact us after you have registered and we'll make special arrangements, if necessary.
